West Chicago, IL....State Senator Randy Hultgren (R-Wheaton) along with State
Representatives Mike Fortner (R-West Chicago), Franco Coladipietro
(R-Bloomingdale), Sandy Pihos (R-Glen Ellyn), Darlene Senger (R-Naperville),
Michael Connelly (R-Naperville), and Patti Bellock (Westmont) will be hosting a Legislative Forum on Autism. This
forum is free and open to the public. In addition to residents sharing their
concerns with the representatives, there will be three guest speakers sharing
information about existing programs available to local residents. The
information for the forum is as follows:

Governor Quinn is scheduled to give his annual budget address March 10.
Prior to the speech, the public has an opportunity to submit ideas to
the Governor's office on how to balance the state budget. We want
people to weigh in because, after all, it's your money! In addition to
submitting ideas to the Governor's office, please take the survey.

ENERGY STAR Rebate Program Funded by State of Illinois |

 Springfield, IL – Jan. 25, 2010 – Senator Hultgren (R-Wheaton) is pleased to announce the Illinois ENERGY STAR Appliance Rebate program, which will provide incentives for Illinois residents to replace older household appliances with specific residential ENERGY STAR qualified products.
The program is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO). Beginning January 31st, 2010, consumers in Illinois can receive rebates for ENERGY STAR heating and cooling equipment and water heaters. Rebates on ENERGY STAR qualified appliances including washers, dryers, refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners will be available from April 16 – 25, 2010.

Senator Hultgren Informs Military Service Members of Free Tax Service |

Wheaton, IL – Jan. 21, 2010 – State Senator Randy Hultgren (R-Wheaton) is informing members of the Armed Forces who have recently returned from a combat zone or are currently deployed that the Illinois CPA Society will again be providing free tax assistance and guidance to them for their service. This program also extends to the immediate family of the military member.
“This free tax service is a great way to honor the service members who have provided a great service to this country. The Illinois CPA Society provides this service as a way to show their appreciation for our military members and I commend them,” said Senator Hultgren.
